The 5th biennial get together of the Brookside refugees was held in San Francisco.  Prior events were in Charleston, Washington DC, Las Vegas and New Jersey.  We stayed downtown at the Rex hotel arriving on Thursday evening.  Friday was spent, after a cable car ride at Fisherman’s Wharf area.  In the evening we went to a restaurant in North Beach and saw Beach Blanket Babylon.  On Saturday, we toured 6 Sonoma wineries in a sightseeing van.  Time to plan for 2009!
