Services for Capturing, Organizing and Preserving Records and Information
Information Managers, Scientists and Librarians: Do you have trouble finding where your critical scientific, legal, regulatory and intellectual property records are? Are they being fully utilized as information resources? Do you dispose of records or save them without considering their liability in litigation?
You can improve this situation- The end result will be an efficient system that can be easily managed after a modest investment. Getting organized is easier than you think.
Here’s how we work Because of my many years of experience as a scientist we can quickly identify the current practices within your organization, perform an assessment of where you are and what needs to be done to improve your records and information systems. This may include recommendations for specific tools and training. There is usually no charge for this service.
Next steps After the assessment, we will describe a unique path to follow that fits the culture and mannerisms of your organization. No organization is the same. We facilitate internal systems development and perform basic tasks such as determining retention schedules, sorting through legacy records, installing and configuring information management software. Staff members will be trained to take over any or all of these activities.
On-going Over time, we will continue our relationship with you by either augmenting your staff functions or performing periodic audits to measure progress and improvement. The choice is yours.
